Inspired by a promise made in 2018, the Vonhera Foundation is dedicated to uplifting widows in rural Nigerian communities. We provide education, health insights, and agricultural resources to foster self-sufficiency and build brighter futures.
Our Story
In 2018, at the funeral of Mrs. Florence Emelike, our founder, Mrs. Rosemary C. Asiegbu, witnessed the deep despair of widows in her community. Moved by their hopelessness after losing their main supporter, she vowed to bridge the gap—giving birth to the Vonhera Foundation.
Our Mission
Our MISSION is to educate and enlighten widows in managing basic health issues and the provision of agricultural inputs to achieve sustenance.
